At Walton Flat Roofing North Tyneside, having been installers of traditional bitumen felt flat roofs for a number of years we decided to start installing a more modern system. We currently use EDPM rubber membranes, RESITRIX and FIRESTONE which have more advantages over the traditional method and is more suited for purpose.
The advantages of using rubber membrane are its durability, complex shapes can be overcome, UV and chemical resistant, low maintenance, needs no additional protection and suitable for green roofs.
